Train Toilets Upgraded
We provide comprehensive solution of design, manufacturing and furnishing for the interior of Linke Hofmann Busch (“LHB”) railway coaches and self-propelled coaches/train sets like Vande Bharat. Since 2017, we've successfully completed more than 28 projects, delivering more than 1,600 coaches reflecting our commitment to excellence and innovation.
We provide refurbishment, mid-life rehabilitation, upgradation and conversion of old Indian railway coaches. Since securing our first refurbishment contract in 2018, we have now successfully refurbished and upgraded more than 1900 coaches, which shows our extensive experience and expertise.
We also specialize in up-gradation and modernization of railway train toilets, ensuring they meet contemporary standards of hygiene. We upgrade toilets of old coaches, encompassing Linke Hofmann Busch (“LHB”), Conventional ICF type coaches and Trainsets. Till date, we have completed more than 10,900 units of toilet upgrades with EN 45545, Hazard Level – 3 fire retardant requirements.
Acme India has ventured out into the self-manufacturing process to provide quality products & the diminish third party reliance to timely deliver the products for Furnishing, Refurbishing and Upgradation work. Acme’s manufacturing unit is located in Sonipat, Haryana, covering over 92,000 sq. ft.

It was first introduced in Indian Railways in 2014 by Acme India for assisting specially abled. Indian Railways earned accolades worldwide for this initiative. We have all India presence and till date have done more than 35000 coaches without any complaints
FRP panels & ceilings are commonly used in IR coaches. We have an inhouse capacity of manufacturing FRP Panels & Ceilings on monthly basis with EN 45545 HL grade.
Seat & berths are made of EN 45545 compliant PU foam & fire barrier. We are supplying the same to IR for both Day trains & long distance trains.
Made up of Aluminum Composite Panel complying to HL3 Level of EN45545 grade. The product is highly durable, long lasting, and a virtually maintenance-free material
Both Side openable IC door mechanism was introduced to railways by Acme to enhance passenger safety. It is being used in all AC trains and is EN 45545 compliant.
Toilet doors are made of Aluminum profiles with FRP/DGFRP/Aluminum panels. Acme has contributed a lot in enhancing the quality of the doors & its mechanism.
